Her parents, Shobha Methwani and Dr. Gurmukh Das, instilled in her the values of hard work and perseverance.

Academic Excellence.   Kashish’s academic journey has been nothing short of impressive. She completed her MSc thesis in Neuroscience at the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore, where she focused on the intriguing topic of brain gamma waves. Her dedication to her studies earned her an invitation to pursue a PhD at Harvard University. 

Diverse Talents.    Kashish is not just an academic achiever; she is a woman of many talents. Her accomplishments extend beyond the classroom and into various fields. She is a national-level pistol shooter, showcasing her precision and focus. Additionally, she has excelled in basketball, demonstrating her athleticism and teamwork skills. But her talents do not stop there as Kashish is also an accomplished Tabla player and a Bharatnatyam dancer, reflecting her artistic side.

Miss International India Titleholder.   Kashish Methwani is also the proud titleholder of Miss International India. This title is not just a beauty crown; it represents her commitment to social causes and her ability to inspire others. As a beauty queen, she has used her platform to raise awareness about various issues and promote positive change in society. 

Best NCC Cadet.   She was honored with the All-India Best Cadet award by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a testament to her leadership and commitment to service. This recognition has further motivated her to pursue her dreams and serve her country.  

Role of NCC in Her Journey.    Kashish credits much of her success to the NCC.  The discipline, training, leadership skills and the values instilled in her during her time with the NCC prepared her for the challenges in her pursuit of joining the Indian Army.
